National Entrepreneurship Week (Educate and/or Empower)
- Overview
- This annual celebration is designed to honor the enormous contributions that entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship educators make to the economic vitality of the United States. It is a celebration of American entrepreneurs and the lifelong learning educational opportunities that prepare the NEW business leaders of the future. The Week is in response to the U S House of Representatives Resolution #699, supporting an annual National Entrepreneurship Week and encouraging the celebration of it annually at the local, state, and national levels.

Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to showcase their existing or launch-ready business using rapid-fire delivery of ideas and information. Audience members will get a sampling of innovation taking place in our local businesses. Within a timed 5-minute slot, broadcasters must call the audience to action with real-time opportunities including but not limited to: trying a product, visiting a location, testing a new product line, investing or recommending employees. |
