Intersect conference for Nebraska entrepreneurs coming April 12

On April 12, ties and T-shirts will come together for Intersect, a hands-on event for people who love startups. Attendees can “intersect” with future big ideas and passionate people sharing their experiences starting and growing businesses. In addition to a stellar lineup of speakers and sessions, Intersect will highlight entrepreneurs and experts in a Startup Village.
Keynote speaker Brad Feld, founder of Boulder’s Foundry Group and co-founder of TechStars, will talk about the essential elements to building a strong startup community. Feld’s most recent book is “Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Your City.”
Other topics covered at Intersect will include:
- Lean startup and lean analytics by Janice Frasier, founder of LUXr and Ben Yoskovitz, author of Lean Analytics
- Female startup founders
- Hitting the hockey stick: your execution year

- Student startups
- Finding the right business model for your startup
Startup companies will have an opportunity to showcase their business while interacting with people across the startup ecosystem including funders, mentors and fellow founders.
Intersect will be held at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in LaVista.
