Interface’s goal is two-fold: Build people’s knowledge and skills for the web and increase the supply of technology talent for startups, small businesses and corporations in the Midwest. The founders of Interface started the school because of a noticeable lack of tech talent in Nebraska. Their hope is to create a new generation of web developers to meet the needs of the community.
The web school offers two tracks of classes, focusing on web development and analysis & management. Both tracks are designed to be flexible and offer options that fit a variety of schedules and skill levels.
Shonna Dorsey is the co-founder and managing director for Interface. In this video, Dorsey gives an overview of Interface and how it’s impacting students as well as employers in the tech industry.
