A nonprofit affiliate of the University of Nebraska, NUtech Ventures is a team of R&D matchmakers who bring the private sector and academia together for mutually beneficial collaboration. We are focused on the number of jobs, companies and products that trace their roots to the University of Nebraska. NUtech’s focus is on long-term research collaboration instead of short-term transactions with companies.
We showcase research strengths and expertise of faculty at the University of Nebraska to encourage joint research partnerships. NUtech Ventures negotiates and executes licenses and options related to University technology, in addition to filing patents on behalf of faculty, staff and student inventors. Through connecting with the entrepreneurial community, we also provide assistance for startup companies based on University technology.
